Volunteer
I regularly spend four hours a week (and sometimes much more) working as a volunteer for various organizations which serve the community. The links below are groups with which I have some level of involvement.
| Holy Ghost Church | I used to work here two to three times a week, making and distributing sandwiches to the homeless. |
| Our Lady of Loreto | My former church. I've spent some time here working as a
driver for the Life Closet - an organization which helps
to provide clothing for those less fortunate.
I also initiated the web page for their Prison Ministry Calendar. My hope was that eventually the page would use this more general purpose JavaScript mechanism, and that the calendar would be useful for other things. Click here for other OLOL web proposals. |
| Other Organizations | I've also volunteered on occasion for other organizations doing things such as bookkeeping for the Salvation Army, sorting clothes for the Jeffco Action Center, and distributing Christmas gifts and food packages for St. Anthony of Padua. |
